The purpose of this article was to evaluate the growth of guinea pigs weaned from three feeding systems: i) integral, ii) mixed commercial and iii) mixed farm. For this, an experimental study was used, in which 180 weaned male guinea pigs (14 days ± 5days) participated, belonging to two commercial farms in Peru: the Cieneguilla Farm of the National University of La Molina and the Allin Farm of Manchay. A complete random design of 3x2 was carried out to establish the order in which the feeding systems were implemented, determining the elaboration of six treatments, with a frequency of three repetitions, in groups of 10 members. The treatments followed three combinations that varied according to the evaluated genome: (C1-farm balanced feed + forage shawl and water) ; (C2: mixed commercial balanced feed+forage shawl+water) and (C3: whole commercial feed+ water). The results were analyzed through the Durcan test, where there are significant variations between the evaluation systems based on weight gain, caloric conversion, percentage carcass yield and the
economic item, being the integral and mixed system, the ones that obtained better results in all the mentioned indicators, so it is concluded that there are productive differences between balanced farm and complementary feeding, where the latter reflects a high profitability and economic remuneration in the agricultural trade area of the country.
