In order to ensure the quality of the published documents, the manuscripts will be submitted to evaluation by specialists in the area, using the double-blind system, in order to be approved and published later. The final verdict of the evaluation of the works by the specialists will be communicated to the editorial board, with the corrections or observations made (if any), approving or rejecting or with rectifiable observations for publication.

However, the editorial committee will have the decision to publish the study or not. If the committee approves the publication of the manuscript, but previously the author must make corrections in his work, the committee will communicate with the author and, once the author made the corrections on the indicated changes, he forced the corrected text and, subsequently, , you will be informed of the date and number of the journal in which your work will be published. The decision of the editorial committee is irrevocable.

Guidelines for reviewers

The reviewers or expert peers are specialized professionals of various nationalities in the thematic discipline of the articles submitted to Innova Biology Sciences. Likewise, they have scientific publications or studies in the area of ​​Biology and Conservation. The evaluation mode applied by Innova Biology Sciences is "double blind", where the identity of the reviewers and authors are kept hidden throughout the evaluation process.

Before proceeding with the evaluation, it is suggested to review the focus and scope of the Journal and the instructions for authors.

The specific evaluation criteria: These are the criteria on formal and content aspects of the article, these will be graded taking into account an assessment scale. Aspects such as the theme, relevance, analysis of ideas, presentation, arguments, interpretation of data, strengths and weaknesses, and the scientific contribution of the article will be taken into account.

Major and minor comments: In the spaces for major and minor comments, comments to the authors will be succinctly presented.

Final decision. The valuation of the articles once reviewed are as follows:

• It is approved without changes.
• It is approved subject to minor changes (no new evaluation required).
• It is approved subject to major changes (requires new evaluation).
• Not publishable.

Likewise, the journal will refrain from selecting evaluators if it recognizes any conflict of interest, as well as the evaluators consider that there are conflicts with any work assigned to them.
